Village Burning Guidelines

Fire pits for campfires are allowed. Other burning is regulated by the DNR. An annual burning permit is required. You can get your burning permit online here.

Then you must call 1-888-WISBURN each time before you burn to determine if there are any restrictions in the proposed burn area. Complete details are available at here.

Please burn only after 6 p.m. No burning on Sundays. Burning of household garbage & recyclables is strictly prohibited.

Building Permits

Required for any work valued over $500
