The Fall issue of the Villager advised the Village Board approved having a yard waste dumpster available on a trial basis for residents use of
disposing of yard waste. We received several favorable comments, therefore the 20 yard dumpster will be available starting on April 3 through the
fall season. The dumpster will be stationed at the Hatley Wastewater Treatment plant inside the gate area. Yard waste consists of grass clippings,
leaves, garden and flower bed waste, twigs, and small branches with a diameter of less than 6”. Please cut branches and twigs down to a reasonable
size before placing in the dumpster. No commercial dumping, no plastic bags, food waste, or garbage of any kind are to be placed in the dumpster.
Please be sure that all yard waste is put into the dumpster and not left on the ground around the dumpster.
